Zavy360 is a cloud-based dental practice management platform that integrates appointment scheduling, treatment planning, patient communication, and billing into a single system. It includes a patient-facing mobile app, helping dental practices streamline operations and improve patient engagement.

Working remotely as a full stack software engineer at Zavy360, I’ve helped modernize their tech stack, and revamp an entire legacy application into a competitive practice management system, launch their mobile app, and architect infrastructure all the way from local development to production.

• Architected and optimized infrastructure: built CI/CD pipelines using self-hosted Github Actions runners in k8s reducing build + deploy to <10 minutes; implemented WAF and ElasticSearch, and set up AWS Fargate server infrastructure
• Dramatically improved performance: reduced bundle size by 75%, and average GraphQL API response times down to < 150ms for complex queries, implemented frontend caching through CloudFront and backend caching through Redis, migrating frontend to monorepo with typescript project references
• Delivered key features: Global Search, Document System (V1/V2), Patient App (native), Notes, interactive Form builder, template editor, ACLs and permission system, metrics and monitoring
• Enhanced reliability and security: Set up JWT revocation, GraphQL schema compatibility checks, WAF, and data anonymization for compliance.

After a year of doing a lot of software development for the Network Security department, I transitioned to the Software Development department to become one of the first members of the new frontend team. Here, I'd work together with 13 other developers to modernize, design and implement the new React frontend for mnemonic's flagship product Argus, which processes tens of billions of security events every day.

• Mobile: Lead development of the Argus mobile app using Flutter with signature-based FaceID authentication
• Testing: Designed and built an ephemeral selenium-based testing system capable of spinning up required microservices and frontend micro-apps in a dockerized environment to execute isolated end-to-end tests

Known for its independent, science-driven approach and strong customer retention, mnemonic works with major enterprises and government agencies in Europe and is recognized by Gartner and Europol as a trusted security partner.

My role at mnemonic began right after university, where I was initially hired to work as a Network Security Analyst helping design a signature management system for IDS/IDPS, with 20% of my time dedicated to assisting in with analyzing potential network intrusions in the SOC.
